Kitchen Crush: Rustically Modern Masterpiece

I was first introduced to this drool-worthy kitchen on the CocoCozy blog and did some further reading to discover it was a kitchen in a canal house in Amsterdam - quite appropriate since that's the next locale I'm (virtually) taking you to in my Europe with a Toddler travel series.  (The house was beautifully designed by Piet Jan van den Kommer and all photographs were sourced from Jolanda Kruse Fotografie.)

Check out this tastefully composed juxtaposition of rustic and modern!

I LOVE concrete counters, and I think I quite possibly LOVE them all the more when paired with reclaimed wood-fronted cabinets.

That streamlined modern hardware on the rustic cabinetry is making me swoon too.  Look, even the dishwasher (see above) and the refrigerator (see below) are covered in the reclaimed wood!

As if the kitchen could get any better...they added a Wolf range, a second sink, black casement windows, and concrete floors.  (Cookbook storage too!!)

I've seen nice concrete counters before, but never so lusciously thick.  That is a true slab of concrete.  Isn't it pretty paired with the delicate stainless fixtures?

I'm ready to move in!  Are you??  Oh how I'd love to see more of the living room with that little teasing peak of a well-worn leather sofa and wide plank wood floors leading me on.  Perhaps they left it out so I wouldn't show up on the doorstep...

Are you loving this space as much as me?  What's your favorite part?
