Get Your Summer Reading On!

Why is it always so difficult to find the perfect book?  I've been on a reading binge over the last few months to catch up with not making time to read over the last few years, and because it was so tough for me to find books that peaked my interest, I decided to make it easy for you!

I've paired a few pretty rooms with recent novels that I've read and enjoyed - the rooms remind me of a setting, time period, or character in the book.  I thought it was a unique way to peak your interest and maybe find a book or two that you can indulge in this summer.

I'm not a literary genius by any stretch of the imagination, but I do love to read and I do appreciate literature, so I can say these books were well worth the read.  I highly recommend clicking on the book source links which will direct you to Amazon where you can read a book description and browse a few reviews from other readers.

Has anyone out there read any of these books?  Anyone have any other good summer reading recommendations for us?  Which book would you be most drawn to read based on the inspiration rooms?  Happy reading!!

  1. That's a fun way to look at it.
I've been really looking forward to reading a book published by one of the blogs I read, Gardening With Grace. She also has a writing blog, where I won a copy of her new book, and it's in the mail. I'm super stoked and plan on camping out in a deck chair until I get to the last page. :o)
The book is called Reaching, A Memoir. There's a review on Amazon, if you're interested.
