Removable (And Stylish) Backsplash Ideas

Being a gal who typically always lives in a rental house (rental sweet rental!) I'm always on the lookout for new backsplash ideas that can really transform a blah white wall into a stylish kitchen backsplash.  I came across two temporary backsplash finishes that would give any permanently installed backsplash a run for it's money...and, they're affordable solutions for renters who don't want to make a major monetary commitment to their temp space.

1) Chasing Paper Temporary Wallpaper - Just like they say: "Peel It. Stick It. Love it."  Easy as pie!

Tri-Angled in Coral

Squares Squared in Green/White

2) Smart Tiles - These uber cool gel tile sheets go on with self-adhesive and are easily removed (peeled off) after being heated by a blow dryer!  They look and feel just like tile.  I so want to try these out!!

If only I had thought to come up with some of this technology!!  People have the greatest ideas, and it's so cool how the internet allows us to discover them without venturing even one step out the door.

If you're interested in some other non-permanent backsplash solutions, there are several other creative and inexpensive backsplash ideas on a previous Inspired Whims post {here}.
