Black and White Spaces

Is there any room so crisp, clean, classy, and chic as a black and white space?  Something about them simply transcends time and style.  These photos are helping me embrace my white walls - I'm learning to love them in an empty-canvas sort of way.  (Says the girl who cannot resist the appeal of COLOR...)

Would you ever consider decorating in black and white?  Which of the featured spaces are most inspiring to you?  I think my two faves are the living room (photo 2) and the nursery (photo 3).  Sometimes it's nice to take a break from a technicolor world, huh?
