Here is the builder-basic blah "before"...
And, the very-curiously curated "after":
I know it's most definitely not everyone's cup o' tea, but I've been loosening up a bit and having more fun with design in our current house. There are no rules, so if it makes you smile, go with it!
I used Benjamin Moore's "Blue Note" on the walls - so glad I went that way versus a deeper navy because that would have been way too dark.
Here are a few more detailed shots of the walls...
(I was going for eclectic - a little modern art, some classic art, family portraits, postcards, and other finds)
(yep, an upholstered rack...who doesn't want one of these?)
(my Federal style mirror is the little gem in the rough)
(got the inspiration room "birds" in...)
(eye chart was inspired by my dad - he's the best ophthalmic salesman the world has ever known)
Here is the original inspiration board and (much larger) inspiration bathroom:
So, did I come remotely close to what I was going for? Tell me which of my "curated" objects you're most interested in. Any questions about the selected items or stories behind where they came from?

I loove the concept. Absolutely love it. My current powder room is full of gold frame mirrors. It is perfect for a small space.
I totally covet the eye poster!!!! That is the coolest as Jacob would say. Or awesome from Jack! Totally Don, but a great touch. I want one! Love the bathroom. It might inspire decor in GK!
So, so beautiful! Love the paint color...I'm into navy right now:).
I love this bathroom - so fun - and can't wait to see it up close and personal! How many bathrooms can you say that about? Ha! Ha! It can even be a bit of an ongoing project with a few gaps to fill in or you could even have fun rearrnaging as you find additional gems to include. I especially love the colorful ABCs down low - great for potty training time for our little miss. I love the old pics also and of course the big "3". Shall we help you keep and eye out for a big "4"?
I love how everything goes all the way to the floor. SO fun!
It looks great! I'm loving looking at your website.
