Furniture Face-Lift - New Knobs!

Having done a lot of Craig's List furniture refinishing lately, I've been inspired to do a little face-lift on furniture we've already got.  I decided to start with the furniture in our baby girl's nursery.  We purchased it new before her arrival, and it's beautiful, but I wanted to add a little something to it so it looked a little more sophisticated as she gets older and transitions out of "babyhood" (kinda sad).  I decided to look around for some new hardware - a quick and easy fix that can really transform furniture pieces.  I found a great website called MyKnobs.com that sells discounted decorative hardware - they have the best prices on hardware that I've seen anywhere.  I found these knobs on their site and ordered them - they were $2.47 per knob.

About a week and a half later, they arrived on our doorstep.  After working with the company, I'd highly recommend them.  I called them to check on the status of my order a couple days after I ordered the knobs and customer service was very helpful.

It's cute furniture with the bun feet and dental molding along the top...but it looks a little like big-box furniture store wares (because it is!).  I wanted to add a little contrast to the all-white going on.

I think they make the furniture look like it has a little more history - a little flash of vintage goes a long ways when applied to brand new furniture.

Love 'em!  I spent a total of $47 for 17 knobs and shipping/handling.  It was a bit of a splurge but it gave the furniture just the face-lift it needed.  I was able to set aside the previous knobs for a future project, so nothing was wasted.  Our master bedroom furniture is next for knobin'...so we'll have to see what I come up with for that.
